Regional Agency Support Officer

About the role

Airtel Africa is looking for a Regional Agency Support Officer to recruit, support and manage regional aggregators, champion POS management and distribution within the assigned region, and manage other Smartcash and Airtel Money agency businesses there. Key responsibilities

• Recruit, onboard and manage aggregators so that 100% of them stay active, each keeps at least 95% of its agents active, and each recruits a minimum of 500 agents
• Drive market penetration across all states in the region, monitor market initiatives and report and counter competitive activities
• Ensure funds are made available to agents promptly with zero float, and drive at least 15 transactions per agent per day
• Maintain custody of POS devices, assign them to aggregators by approved criteria, coordinate distribution, retrieval and repairs with the State End User Support team
• Manage outlet branding in line with PICOS standards, manage POSM material stock across regional warehouses and train aggregators on POSM deployment

Required profile

• First degree in any discipline; a Master's degree is an added advantage
• 3 years of commercial or business management experience
• 1-2 years of relevant experience in POS management
• Financial services, banking, PSB and fintech experience is a great advantage
