Real-Time (RT) Geomechanics Engineer

About the role

As a Real-Time (RT) Geomechanics Engineer you will act as the primary link between on‑site teams and customers, ensuring that geomechanical equipment and services are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest technical standards. You will apply strong analytical and engineering expertise to address operational challenges, support subsurface evaluations and contribute to multidisciplinary projects across the energy value chain.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse, process and interpret real‑time geomechanics and geoscience data to solve complex subsurface problems.
• Perform data quality control, interpretation and reporting for RT geomechanics evaluations.
• Advise on subsurface data acquisition, identify quality issues and provide technical guidance to customers.
• Support cross‑region data operations through job shadowing and collaborative projects.
• Apply advanced modelling and engineering judgement to inform operational decisions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum, Mechanical, Chemical, Civil, Energy Engineering or in Geology, Petroleum Engineering, Geomechanics.
• Experience working on geomechanics or geoscience projects.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal abilities, teamwork orientation and capacity to guide others.
