Mechanical Engineer – Full‑time (Mid‑level)

About the role

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Marina, Nigeria. The role involves designing, maintaining and improving mechanical equipment within a construction environment, ensuring safe and efficient operation.

Key responsibilities

• Design, inspect, and enhance mechanical equipment and systems.
• Monitor machinery performance, identify faults and recommend corrective actions.
• Troubleshoot breakdowns and support installation and commissioning of new machinery.
• Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance plans.
• Prepare technical reports and maintain accurate maintenance records.
• Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to minimise downtime.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and operational standards.

Required profile

• HND in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and industrial equipment.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet production targets.
