About the role
Gidi Steel Properties Limited is hiring a lawyer in Abuja to handle real estate matters. The role covers drafting documents for sales, leases and purchases, researching properties and preparing title documents for government review.
Key responsibilities
- Draft and edit documents related to the sale, lease and purchase of real estate.
- Research and analyse real estate properties to give accurate and comprehensive legal advice.
- Prepare title documents for review by governmental agencies and obtain the proper authorisation to purchase property.
Required profile
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from a four-year law school program.
- Valid state bar certification to practice law.
- Thorough knowledge of applicable state and local real estate laws.
- Ability to understand financial documents related to real estate transactions.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with clients.
- Highly organised, able to manage multiple cases at once.
- Expert knowledge of contract and litigation procedures.
