Quarry Accounts Manager

About the role

The Quarry Accounts Manager will provide overall financial leadership for the quarry’s accounting operations, overseeing budgeting, cost analysis and financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise Accounts Officers, Weighbridge Clerks and Storekeepers.
• Prepare and monitor annual budgets, forecasts and capital expenditure plans.
• Analyze operational costs such as drilling, blasting, fuel, tyre usage and equipment maintenance.
• Manage customer accounts, receivables, credit sales and cash flow.
• Ensure compliance with mining regulations, tax obligations and royalty payments.
• Produce weekly and monthly financial performance reports for management.
• Develop and enforce financial controls to protect assets and improve efficiency.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and maintain accurate documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of accounting or finance management experience, preferably in quarry, mining or heavy industry.
• Professional certification (ICAN, ACCA or equivalent) is an advantage.
• Strong leadership, supervisory and decision‑making abilities.
• Ability to establish robust financial controls in a high‑risk environment.

• Competitive monthly salary ranging from NGN 150,000 to NGN 250,000.
