Quantity Surveyor

About the role

The Quantity Surveyor will play a pivotal role in managing the commercial and cost aspects of large‑scale construction projects for Peoplevantage Consulting Limited. You will support budgeting, cost planning, and financial forecasting while ensuring accurate measurement and valuation of works.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates, bills of quantities (BOQs) and material take‑offs; review drawings and specifications for cost implications.
• Measure completed works, produce interim valuations, and certify payment applications.
• Review contract documents, assess variations and change orders, and maintain a variation register.
• Provide quantity and cost data to procurement, evaluate supplier quotations, and identify cost‑saving opportunities.
• Prepare periodic cost reports, forecasts and variance analyses; highlight potential overruns and recommend corrective actions.

Required profile

• Minimum HND in Quantity Surveying.
• 5–8 years of relevant construction experience, preferably on large‑scale, high‑rise, healthcare or institutional projects.
• Membership of NIQS or registration with QSRBN is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with quantity surveying software such as CostX or Cubit.
