Quality Assurance Engineer

About the role

Afriex is hiring a Quality Assurance Engineer to help ensure our software products meet the highest quality standards before release to the public. In this role, you will be responsible for testing applications, identifying bugs, validating fixes, and working closely with engineering and product teams to deliver reliable, secure, and user‑friendly experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios for API, web and mobile applications.
• Identify, document, track, and verify software defects.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and usability testing.
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to resolve issues before release.
• Ensure software meets quality, performance, and reliability standards.
• Support release readiness by confirming that all checks are completed before public launch.
• Continuously improve QA processes, testing strategies, and overall product quality.

Required profile

• Experience in software quality assurance and testing.
• Strong understanding of manual and/or automated testing methods.
• Ability to detect issues, analyze root causes, and communicate findings clearly.
• Familiarity with bug‑tracking and test management tools.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality products.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
• 3‑4 years of experience.
