QI Technical Associate

About the role

The Quality Improvement (QI) Technical Associate provides technical and analytical support to Jhpiego’s QI projects in Nigeria. Based in Abuja, the role works closely with QI technical teams, Monitoring & Evaluation, and Research & Learning functions to design, implement, measure, and document QI interventions across states, LGAs, facilities, and communities.

Key responsibilities

• Provide hands‑on technical support to QI Advisors and Senior QI Specialists in designing and implementing QI activities.
• Prepare, review, and refine QI tools and methodologies such as driver diagrams, process maps, change packages, PDSA templates, and run charts.
• Facilitate weekly technical team learning sessions, capture notes, track actions, and report progress.
• Support collection, cleaning, basic analysis, and visualization of QI data from facilities, LGAs, and communities.
• Develop and maintain QI dashboards, charts, and summaries for technical review and decision‑making.
• Coordinate documentation of implementation processes, lessons learned, and best practices; produce technical briefs, case studies, and presentations.
• Assist research and innovation activities, including literature reviews and operational research related to QI.
