About the role
A growing team is looking for a QA Tester to ensure that software products meet quality standards and work as intended before release. The tester works closely with developers, product managers and other stakeholders to find bugs, suggest improvements and keep product quality high.
Key responsibilities
- Run manual and automated test cases to find software issues.
- Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents and give timely feedback.
- Create detailed, well-structured test plans and test cases.
- Find, record, document and track bugs.
- Carry out regression, functional, integration and performance testing.
- Work with the development team to troubleshoot issues and check that fixes work.
- Ensure product quality through rigorous testing before deployment.
- Report regularly on defects and testing progress.
Required profile
- Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester.
- Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing.
- Experience writing clear, comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Experience testing web and mobile applications.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, good communication and teamwork.
Required skills
- Solid knowledge of QA methodologies, tools and processes.
- Knowledge of SQL and scripting is a plus.
