About the role
The Purchasing Supervisor ensures efficient procurement and inventory management for food and related items within the hotel, maintaining compliance with safety standards and company policies.
Key responsibilities
- Print, organize, and distribute necessary documents and reports.
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of safety programs and local regulations.
- Calculate inventory figures, conduct audits, and monitor stock levels.
- Notify management of low stock and troubleshoot vendor delivery issues.
- Verify and track received inventory, reconcile shipping invoices, and process deliveries.
- Enforce food safety and handling policies across all areas.
- Assist in training, scheduling, and coaching team members.
- Report accidents, maintain confidentiality, and protect company assets.
Required profile
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- At least 2 years of related purchasing or inventory experience.
- Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience.
