Project Manager – Construction (Abuja, Lagos, Enugu, Rivers)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead large‑scale construction projects across Abuja, Lagos, Enugu and Rivers state. The successful candidate will oversee the full project lifecycle, ensuring safety, quality, and environmental standards are met while delivering on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the entire project lifecycle from negotiation to delivery, adhering to health, safety, quality and environmental standards.
• Lead project teams, define feasible scopes, and monitor progress before, during and after execution.
• Develop and implement risk mitigation plans throughout the project.
• Conduct detailed reviews of contracts and project documents to ensure full compliance.
• Coordinate with safety units to design and enforce safety programs for each site.
• Support engineers and project managers in scheduling, reporting and analysis.
• Monitor on‑site work to guarantee compliance with specifications and timelines.
• Communicate project needs, including budget adjustments, to senior management.
• Maintain and grow strategic relationships with contractors and vendors.
• Train and mentor staff in project management and estimating techniques.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of project management experience on large construction projects.
• BSc in Civil Engineering or related field; additional qualifications considered.
• Project management certification is an advantage.
• Advanced knowledge of construction processes, methods, and regulations.
• Proven ability to handle techno‑commercial aspects such as tendering, contract negotiation and vendor management.
• Strong analytical, conflict‑resolution and crisis‑management capabilities.
