Facility Manager

About the role

Shuttlers is looking for a Facility Manager to oversee the day‑to‑day operation, maintenance and safety of its head office. You will ensure the workplace runs smoothly, vendors meet their commitments and staff enjoy a comfortable, secure and productive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the upkeep of office premises, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, power (generators, inverters, UPS), water and internet infrastructure.
• Run preventive maintenance schedules and resolve faults promptly to minimise downtime.
• Conduct regular inspections, maintain an asset and equipment register.
• Source, negotiate and manage service providers such as cleaning, security, catering, fuel, repairs and pest control.
• Monitor vendor performance against SLAs, handle contract renewals and obtain competitive quotes.
• Enforce HSE policies, maintain fire safety equipment, emergency exits and first‑aid provisions, and run regular drills.
• Coordinate with security on access control, visitor management and incident reporting.
• Prepare and manage the facility budget, track expenses and identify cost‑saving opportunities.
• Process facility‑related invoices and requisitions accurately and on time.
• Manage space planning, seating arrangements, office moves, supplies, pantry and general housekeeping.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or HND in Facility Management, Estate Management, Engineering, Business Administration or related field.
• 4–6 years of experience in facility or office management, preferably in a tech or corporate environment.
• Professional certification such as IFMA, NEBOSH or similar is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance practices and vendor negotiation.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace.
