Construction Superintendent III

About the role

The Construction Superintendent III will direct all day‑to‑day field operations on major oil and gas capital projects, providing comprehensive planning, coordination, and control of craft labor and subcontractors to meet project milestones. The role serves as the primary site representative in the absence of senior management and ensures strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and control craft labor and subcontractors to achieve project milestones.
• Review submittals, RFIs and RFCs for technical accuracy and alignment with specifications.
• Enforce HSE control measures to maintain 100% regulatory and company compliance.
• Verify payment quantities, validate work completion status and ensure site documentation reflects physical progress.
• Identify non‑conformance issues in real time and lead technical resolutions to minimise delays.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 + years documented experience in field construction planning, execution and completions on major oil and gas capital projects.
• Proven history as a lead company representative at remote sub‑sites, managing complex operations autonomously.
• Advanced proficiency in analysing technical documentation such as blueprints, schematics and engineering change requests.
• Willingness to maintain onsite presence with flexibility for occasional domestic and international travel.

Required skills

• Expert‑level knowledge of ASTM standards.
• Construction Materials Testing (CMT) procedures.
• Blueprint and schematic interpretation.
• Engineering change request analysis.
