Project Coordinator

About the role

Pivotage Consulting is looking for an experienced Project Coordinator to support the Senior Project Manager in a manufacturing/FMCG environment. The role involves coordinating project activities, tracking deliverables, and ensuring timely execution on site in Sagamu, Lagos.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate project schedules, milestones, and deliverables across contractors, consultants, vendors, and site teams.
• Maintain project trackers, risk/issue logs, documentation, and progress reports.
• Attend project and site meetings, prepare minutes, and follow up on action points to closure.
• Support preparation and review of BOQs, cost estimates, measurement take‑offs, payment certificates, and variation orders.
• Assist with project reporting, documentation, procurement, and general administration.

Required profile

• B.Sc. or B.Eng. in Civil, Mechanical/Structural Engineering, Architecture, Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
• 5–10 years of experience in project coordination, quantity surveying, construction, or related fields, preferably in manufacturing plants or industrial projects.
• Working knowledge of BOQs, measurement, valuations, payment certificates and basic contract administration.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Strong coordination, communication, organization and follow‑up abilities.
