Programs Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Programs Manager to design, coordinate and scale innovation programmes across Africa. The role will support founders, creators and technology enthusiasts while driving business growth through project sourcing and proposal development.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of innovation programmes, projects and ecosystem initiatives aligned with organisational and client objectives.
• Create program concepts, frameworks, implementation plans and supporting materials such as proposals, concept notes and presentations.
• Plan, coordinate and execute programmes including challenges, hackathons, workshops, ecosystem events and community engagement activities.
• Manage end‑to‑end programme operations to ensure high‑quality participant and stakeholder experiences.
• Coordinate stakeholders across teams, partners and facilitators to maintain alignment and successful delivery.
• Research and identify grant, consulting and partnership opportunities; support preparation and submission of applications and proposals.
• Track pipelines, deadlines and partnership opportunities to contribute to organisational growth.
• Drive community engagement through initiatives and communication, staying informed on African technology and startup trends.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in program management, consulting, operations, community management, partnerships or business development.
• Strong strategic thinking and execution orientation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners.
