Professional Services Engineer, Quark (Remote)

About the role

Quark helps enterprise teams manage complex content workflows, and this role turns customer needs into reliable implementations on the Quark platform: configurations, REST API integrations, webhooks, SSO/SAML connections, XML/XSLT transforms, migrations and workflow automations. The work is technical, customer-facing and outcome-based, using AI tools such as Claude Code or Cursor to speed up delivery. It is a full-time, fully remote position starting immediately, paid $7 USD per hour ($15,000 USD per year).

Key responsibilities

• Translate customer requirements into technical implementation plans, acceptance criteria and delivery tasks.
• Configure Quark workflows, structured content models, rules, integrations and external data-source connections.
• Build and test REST API, webhook, SSO/SAML, XML/XSLT, migration and scripting-based automation deliverables.
• Diagnose implementation defects by analysing logs, payloads, authentication flows, transforms and configuration dependencies.
• Create concise runbooks, handover materials and walkthroughs so customers can operate the delivered solution.

Required profile

• At least 3 years of hands-on software engineering, systems integration, implementation or technical consulting experience.
• Fluent written and spoken English for customer discovery, requirements clarification and technical handover.
• Availability of at least 4 hours per day overlapping with US business hours and 4 hours for Europe.
• Nice to have: experience with content management or publishing platforms, and with writing customer-facing technical documentation.

Required skills

• Building or troubleshooting REST API and webhook integrations.
• Working knowledge of SSO or SAML authentication.
• Practical proficiency with XML and XSLT or an equivalent structured-data transformation technology.
• Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language used for migration, automation or workflow implementation.
• Regular use of AI developer tools such as Claude Code or Cursor, and experience building at least one useful AI agent, Skill file or similar automation artifact.
