Level 1/2 IT Support Engineer (Remote)

About the role

Alfred & Victoria Associates, a Nigerian ICT solutions company offering consulting, recruitment and training services, is recruiting a Level 1/2 IT Support Engineer for a full-time remote position. The role suits a skilled, well-presented IT engineer who wants to build a strong foundation in infrastructure, cloud, security and systems engineering, working alongside both junior and experienced engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first and second line IT support to end users by phone and email.
• Troubleshoot and resolve desktop, application, hardware and connectivity issues.
• Support and administer Microsoft 365 services, firewalls and systems.
• Assist with user onboarding and offboarding, and deploy, configure and support end-user devices.
• Support endpoint management and security initiatives.
• Follow support processes, escalate issues appropriately, and maintain clear communication with users.
• Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing, and take ownership of incidents and service requests through to resolution.

Required profile

• Experience supporting and administering Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Exchange Online and Microsoft Security and Compliance solutions.
• Strong desktop support skills in Microsoft Windows environments, including desktops, laptops and peripherals; Apple macOS support is desirable but not essential.
• Good understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, firewalls, DNS/DHCP, VPN and network troubleshooting.
• Excellent understanding of cybersecurity and AI.
• Exceptional written and spoken English, customer-service focus, teamwork and a willingness to learn.
