Production Pharmacist (Oral Dosage Forms)

About the role

A long-term position for a Production Pharmacist specialising in oral dosage forms, based in Enugu, Enugu. The role supervises and coordinates daily production activities in line with approved production schedules, ensuring compliance with GMP, SOPs and safety regulations. The application deadline is 30 October 2026.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily production activities according to approved production schedules.
• Ensure strict compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), SOPs and safety regulations.
• Monitor production processes such as dispensing, tableting, filling, packaging and labelling.
• Ensure accurate completion and maintenance of batch manufacturing records and other production documentation.
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance and Quality Control to ensure product quality and compliance.
• Monitor production equipment and ensure proper cleaning, maintenance and usage.
• Identify and report production deviations, non-conformities and process issues.
• Ensure proper handling, storage and use of raw materials, packaging materials and finished products.
• Enforce personnel hygiene, PPE use and housekeeping standards in the production area.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives for productivity, quality and efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy (BPharm).
• Registered Pharmacist with the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN).
• Completed National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).
• Minimum 1 year of experience; experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing preferred.
• Good knowledge of cGMP, SOPs and pharmaceutical production processes.
• Strong leadership, communication and teamwork skills, initiative, attention to detail and integrity.
