About the role
We are looking for a Mobile Product Designer to lead the design of Zela’s creator app for Android, with future expansion to iOS. You will shape every user interaction, from onboarding to brand‑deal payouts, ensuring a seamless experience for creators in emerging markets.
Key responsibilities
- Own end‑to‑end design of the Android creator app, collaborating closely with engineering on Expo and React Native constraints.
- Conduct user research with creators across launch markets such as Nigeria, Brazil, and the Philippines.
- Maintain and expand the Zela design system, including tokens, components, and motion patterns.
- Partner with marketing to create landing‑page visuals and product mockups as needed.
Required profile
- Minimum 4 years of mobile product design experience.
- Strong portfolio showcasing shipped consumer mobile products.
- Fluent in Figma and comfortable delivering interactive prototypes.
- Understanding of emerging‑market constraints like low bandwidth, mid‑tier devices, and multilingual support.
