Procurement Coordinator

About the role

Makarios Consulting Services is hiring a Procurement Coordinator in Port Harcourt, Rivers State. The role covers developing cost-effective procurement strategies, managing purchasing activities and working with engineering, finance and project teams to meet operational needs.

Key responsibilities

• Develop cost-effective procurement strategies and manage purchasing activities
• Evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts and monitor supplier performance
• Coordinate purchase orders, delivery schedules and procurement documentation
• Collaborate with engineering, finance and project teams to meet operational needs
• Monitor procurement costs, ensure compliance and track supplier performance using Odoo ERP

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline
• Minimum of 7 years' experience in the oil and gas industry
• Strong knowledge of sourcing, purchasing, logistics and supply chain operations
• Experience in supplier management, contract negotiation and purchase order processing
• CIPS membership is an added advantage

• Proficiency in Odoo ERP
