Process Safety & ISO Manager

About the role

The Process Safety & ISO Manager will lead the identification and management of hazards in our chemical production facilities, ensuring the prevention of catastrophic incidents and compliance with integrated management systems (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001). The role combines safety engineering expertise with ISO auditing to protect people, the environment and the business.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement process safety programs and conduct process hazard analyses.
• Identify, evaluate and mitigate process safety concerns, recommending corrective actions.
• Provide technical support to operations to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Investigate accidents, process incidents and near‑miss events.
• Facilitate and participate in Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) studies and manage change (MOC) documentation.
• Interface with plant management, operations and engineering teams.
• Deliver training on safety procedures and ISO requirements to employees.

Required profile

• 5‑7 years of experience as a process safety engineer in the chemical process industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Process Safety Engineering.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and ability to assess hazards.
• Certification in Process Safety Management (PSM) preferred.
• Certified lead auditor for ISO 14001, ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 preferred.
