Power BI Analyst – Remote

About the role

Marbill is seeking a skilled Power BI Analyst to join its Business Intelligence team. You will develop, maintain, and optimise the reporting ecosystem with a focus on finance, risk monitoring, and operational metrics, working fully remotely as an analytical problem‑solver.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js/Express and MySQL.
• Implement and manage caching strategies with Redis for high performance.
• Build and maintain AI/LLM pipelines, including embeddings, vector databases and multi‑provider integrations.
• Architect Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) workflows to enhance product intelligence.
• Manage cloud infrastructure on AWS using Infrastructure‑as‑Code (EKS, Helm, eksctl, IRSA).
• Ensure robust multi‑tenant SaaS data isolation across the platform.
• Develop integrations with third‑party platforms (Zendesk, SendGrid, Meta) via webhooks and APIs.
• Collaborate on full‑stack features using the frontend stack (SvelteKit, Svelte, Tailwind).
• Own the software lifecycle with Git, CI/CD (GitHub Actions, Docker, ECR).

Required profile

• 2+ years experience as a BI Developer, Data Analyst or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query (M), data modelling (star schema) and Power BI Service.
• Solid knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Hands‑on experience with ETL/ELT processes and data transformation for reporting.
• Understanding of data‑visualisation principles and user‑centric dashboard design.
• Analytical, problem‑solving and stakeholder‑management abilities to translate business requirements.
• Ability to work in Agile environments with a proactive, collaborative mindset.
