Policy Advisor - Life Insurance

About the role

Enterprise Life Nigeria is a life insurance company offering affordable, needs-based products to individuals and families. It is hiring Policy Advisors in a full-time hybrid role based in Port Harcourt. Advisors help clients understand and choose suitable life insurance solutions, with some work-from-home allowed.

Key responsibilities

• Meet prospective and existing clients, assess their financial protection needs and recommend suitable insurance products
• Prospect and network for new business, conduct needs-based consultations and prepare and present proposals
• Follow up on leads to close sales
• Maintain client relationships and provide after-sales support
• Collaborate with marketing and branch teams on outreach initiatives

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of insurance and general insurance principles, products and regulatory considerations
• Proven sales skills, including prospecting, negotiation and closing, with a target-driven mindset
• Marketing capability: customer outreach, basic promotion and brand representation
• Effective communication, interpersonal and presentation skills, able to explain complex ideas clearly
• Customer service orientation, ethical judgment and ability to build long-term client relationships
• Good organisational and time-management skills
• Previous experience in insurance, financial services or sales is an advantage; a relevant diploma or degree is beneficial
