PHP Developer

About the role

Rednoxx Limited is seeking a skilled PHP Developer to join its team in Kano. You will work on developing and maintaining EMR/EHR modules, ensuring secure and efficient healthcare software solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and improve PHP‑based EMR/EHR modules using Laravel or a similar modern framework.
• Translate user stories and workflow documents into functional application features.
• Design, build, and document REST APIs for internal modules and system integrations.
• Create and manage database schemas, migrations, and queries in MySQL or PostgreSQL, optimizing performance where needed.
• Apply secure coding practices, implement role‑based access control, and ensure compliance with healthcare data regulations.
• Investigate, reproduce, and resolve defects reported by QA, product owners, or end‑users.
• Use Git for version control, participate in code reviews, and collaborate in sprint planning and release activities.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in PHP development.
• Strong understanding of backend development, API design, and relational databases.
• Experience working with Laravel or comparable PHP frameworks.
• Familiarity with security best practices for handling sensitive health data.
• Ability to work onsite in an agile team environment.
