Pharmacy Technician

About the role

Mercy Group Clinics is hiring a full-time Pharmacy Technician in Abeokuta, Ogun State. The role covers the day-to-day handling of medicines in the pharmacy, including dispensing, stock control and patient support within the scope of practice.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in dispensing and labelling prescribed medications.
• Receive, arrange and store medications appropriately.
• Monitor stock levels, expiry dates and medication inventory.
• Maintain accurate records of medications dispensed and received.
• Assist with stock ordering and inventory management.
• Provide basic medication information to patients within the scope of practice.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of pharmaceutical products.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the pharmacy.
• Report low stock, expired products and discrepancies promptly.
• Comply with pharmacy regulations, safety standards and organisational policies.

Required profile

• A minimum of 1 year of experience.
• A minimum of a diploma in a related field.
