About the role
Mercy Group Clinics is hiring a Medical Laboratory Technician in Abeokuta, Ogun State. The role covers the day-to-day running of laboratory testing, from sample preparation to reporting results, and is open to entry-level candidates.
Key responsibilities
- Collect, receive and prepare patient samples for laboratory analysis.
- Perform routine laboratory tests and investigations.
- Operate, clean and maintain laboratory equipment.
- Ensure the accuracy and reliability of test results.
- Record, document and report laboratory findings promptly.
- Maintain proper laboratory hygiene and safety standards.
- Monitor reagents, supplies and inventory, and ensure proper handling, storage and disposal of specimens and waste.
- Follow laboratory procedures, quality control measures and professional standards.
Required profile
- A minimum of 1 year of experience.
- A minimum of a diploma in a related field.
