Pharmacy Program Manager (Relarex)

About the role

Reliance Health is seeking a Manager for its Relarex pharmacy program to build and scale a high‑performing network of pharmacies, vendors, and warehousing facilities across Nigeria. You will lead the end‑to‑end digital prescription fulfillment process and ensure the business unit remains profitable and sustainable.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategies to establish and scale the Relarex pharmacy network as a self‑sustaining business unit.
• Define data‑driven systems for monitoring supply‑chain, fulfillment, financial health, and service delivery metrics.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with suppliers, importers, and manufacturers to ensure cost‑effective, high‑quality sourcing.
• Oversee inventory management, logistics, and cold‑chain integrity for end‑to‑end distribution operations.
• Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Analyze operational and market data to identify inefficiencies, mitigate risks, and design strategic interventions.
• Set and achieve revenue, margin, and growth targets, including pricing optimization and new revenue streams.
• Ensure compliance with pharmaceutical regulations, quality standards, and internal protocols.

Required profile

• Licensed pharmacist with active registration in Nigeria.
• Experience in pharmacy technology or digitally enabled pharmacy businesses.
• Proven leadership in a growth‑stage startup or senior role within an established pharmacy chain with digital/e‑commerce presence.
• Deep expertise in pharmaceutical logistics, supply‑chain management, warehousing, inventory control, and last‑mile delivery.
• Strong track record of building or optimizing multi‑location pharmacy networks.
• Understanding of pharmacy business models, pricing strategies, and cost optimization.
• Exposure to health‑insurance or pharmacy‑benefits‑management financing models is a plus.
