People Operations Executive (HR)

About the role

The People Operations Executive will support day‑to‑day HR activities for a fast‑growing entertainment and creative media organization in Nigeria. You will act as a bridge between employees and leadership, ensuring smooth onboarding, accurate record‑keeping, payroll support, and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full employee lifecycle from onboarding to exit.
• Maintain up‑to‑date employee records, HR databases and documentation.
• Support payroll inputs, attendance tracking and leave management.
• Coordinate onboarding programs and induction sessions for new hires.
• Assist with employee engagement initiatives and internal communications.
• Ensure HR compliance with policies and labour laws.
• Handle HR administrative tasks, filing and documentation.
• Support performance management tracking and appraisal processes.
• Respond to employee queries and provide operational HR support.
• Assist recruitment coordination and interview scheduling.
• Support training and development logistics.
• Collaborate with the HR Business Partner on people projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, Psychology or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in HR operations, people management or administrative HR roles.
• Experience in entertainment, media or fast‑paced creative environments is a plus.
• Strong organisational, multitasking and confidentiality skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with HR systems.
