Partnerships Manager

About the role

The Partnerships Manager will lead partnership management for IRC Nigeria, ensuring high‑quality, compliant programming and fostering sustainable relationships with local and international partners.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the full partnership lifecycle, from stakeholder analysis and due diligence to agreement negotiation, implementation, monitoring, and close‑out.
• Lead pre‑award due diligence, including vetting, Partner Capacity Assessments, and risk analysis, and ensure mitigation measures are documented.
• Maintain effective internal procedures for partnership documentation, compliance, and audit preparation.
• Facilitate regular partner engagement through management meetings, learning sessions, and feedback mechanisms.
• Support capacity‑building activities for partners, including orientation, health checks, and peer‑to‑peer learning.

Required profile

• Master’s degree preferred (BA required) in international affairs, development, economics or related field.
• Minimum three years of experience in grants management, proposal development, or partnership administration.
• Fluency in spoken and written English.
• Experience with donor regulations (USG, FCDO, EU, ECHO, SIDA, etc.) and sub‑grantee management.
• Ability to work under pressure in unstable security environments.
