Partnership Officer

About the role

OpportuNation is seeking a proactive Partnership Officer to expand its network of NGOs, schools, hospitals and businesses across Nigeria’s North East. You will act as the primary liaison, introducing organisations to the company’s software platform and supporting their onboarding journey.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and build relationships with NGOs, educational institutions, healthcare providers and commercial entities in Borno, Adamawa and Yobe.
• Present OpportuNation’s software solutions through meetings and product demonstrations.
• Follow up on leads, nurture partnership conversations and assist with contract negotiations.
• Support the onboarding process for new partner organisations, ensuring a smooth transition to the platform.
• Represent OpportuNation professionally in the field and at community events.

Required profile

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Confidence engaging with senior decision‑makers.
• Experience in marketing, sales, partnership development, NGO engagement or client relations is advantageous.
• Existing networks within NGOs, schools, hospitals or businesses in the North East region are a plus.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently and manage a field‑based schedule.
