Network Officer

About the role

Xpress Payment Solutions Ltd is seeking a Network Officer to expand and manage its agent, merchant and aggregator network across Borno State. The role involves onboarding new partners, supporting existing ones, and driving transaction growth through effective POS deployment and relationship management.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit, onboard and supervise agents, merchants and aggregators.
• Increase active agents, transaction count and transaction volume.
• Deploy, monitor and manage POS terminals throughout the state.
• Conduct regular field visits to provide support and resolve operational issues.
• Identify and reactivate inactive or under‑performing agents and terminals.
• Train partners on Xpress products, services and processes.
• Maintain strong relationships with all network stakeholders.
• Assist in resolving transaction, settlement, terminal and operational complaints.
• Monitor competitors and uncover new business opportunities.
• Prepare and submit performance and field activity reports.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or HND in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Economics or a related field.
• Experience in agency banking, fintech, POS operations, field sales, merchant acquisition or financial services.
• Good understanding of agent and merchant network management.
• Ability to work independently and meet assigned targets.
• Strong communication, relationship management and problem‑solving abilities.
