Nutrition Education Officer

About the role

We are looking for a full‑time Nutrition Education Officer to join our fast‑growing mum‑and‑baby brand. You will lead nutrition education initiatives, build an engaged community of parents, and create evidence‑based content that supports African families.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the Nutrition community, delivering weekly educational sessions and daily Q&A.
• Create engaging nutrition content such as blog articles, feeding guides, product education resources and FAQs.
• Support social media and marketing teams with evidence‑based nutrition content and campaign ideas.
• Develop nutrition recommendation guides, product bundles and educational resources for customers and the customer‑service team.
• Organise monthly expert sessions with paediatricians and child‑health professionals.
• Build and maintain an internal nutrition knowledge base and educational resource library.
• Review nutrition information, preparation guides and product documentation to ensure accuracy.
• Stay up‑to‑date with current nutrition research and apply best practices to all educational material.

Required profile

• Degree in Nutrition, Human Nutrition, Dietetics, Food Science or a related field.
• Fully available and committed to a full‑time role.
• Strong understanding of maternal, infant and child nutrition.
• Excellent writing, research and communication abilities.
• Passionate about educating and supporting parents.
• Highly organised with great attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership and manage multiple priorities.
• Professional judgement to recognise role boundaries and appropriately escalate medical or complex clinical questions.
