National Sales Manager – Feeds & Nutrition

About the role

The National Sales Manager will lead the sales and distribution strategy for animal nutrition and feed products across Nigeria. Reporting to senior leadership, you will drive revenue growth, expand market share, and ensure sustainable business performance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement national sales strategies to meet revenue, volume and profitability targets.
• Identify new market opportunities, emerging customer segments and drive product penetration.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of commercial farms, distributors, retailers and institutional customers.
• Strengthen relationships with key accounts and ensure high customer satisfaction.
• Develop, manage and expand distributor and dealer networks nationwide, setting performance targets and conducting regular business reviews.
• Lead, mentor and develop regional and field sales teams, setting clear KPIs and monitoring territory coverage.
• Monitor market trends, pricing activities and competitor movements to inform strategic decisions.

Required profile

• Proven senior sales management experience in animal nutrition, feed or related agribusiness sectors.
• Strong commercial leadership with a track record of delivering revenue growth in competitive markets.
• Excellent understanding of distributor networks, customer acquisition and market development.
• Ability to set clear targets, coach teams and drive performance.
• Highly motivated, results‑oriented and capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels.
