National Business Head – My Cocoa Money & Street Commerce Channels

About the role

The National Business Head will own the end‑to‑end development of the My Cocoa Money program and its street‑commerce channels across Nigeria. This senior commercial role is responsible for turning a pilot initiative into a profitable, technology‑enabled, direct‑to‑consumer channel while ensuring product quality, compliance and strong financial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute a national growth strategy for My Cocoa Money, expanding the program in a phased, data‑driven manner.
• Identify high‑potential routes and consumer clusters (markets, schools, offices, transport hubs, events, residential areas) and benchmark against FMCG and informal retail models.
• Develop and test new selling formats such as carts, kiosks, bicycles, cooler boxes and backpack vendors.
• Own national serving standards, product preparation rules, water and cup quality, taste consistency and food safety across all selling points.
• Set and monitor monthly activation plans to drive trial, repeat purchase, basket size and cart productivity.
• Validate pilot economics (sales per cart, gross margin, payback period, operator economics, repeat purchase) before scaling.
• Maintain full P&L responsibility and manage assets, operators, supervisors, routes and field structures nationwide.

Required profile

• Proven experience building and scaling national direct‑to‑consumer channels.
• Strong commercial acumen with full P&L ownership.
• Ability to validate pilot economics and make data‑driven expansion decisions.
• Experience managing large field teams, operators and asset portfolios.
• Track record of delivering sales, volume, distribution and profitability targets.
