Medical Officer

About the role

The Medical Officer will provide comprehensive clinical care to patients within our facility, ensuring accurate diagnosis, effective treatment, and continuous health education. This full‑time position involves direct patient interaction, emergency response, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct patient consultations, medical assessments, and physical examinations.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Order, interpret, and act upon laboratory and diagnostic results.
• Prescribe medications and provide medical advice.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as needed.
• Respond promptly to emergency cases.
• Maintain up‑to‑date patient medical records.
• Participate in ward rounds and collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals.
• Provide health education and counseling to patients and families.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, clinical protocols, and professional standards.
• Refer patients to specialists when required.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and other hospital activities.

Required profile

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant clinical experience.
• Degree in Medicine or a related health field.
• Mid‑level professional standing.
