Medical Doctor – Full-time Clinical Role

About the role

The Medical Doctor will provide comprehensive clinical care in a specialist clinic environment. The position is based in our Abuja clinic, offering a comprehensive one‑stop healthcare environment that includes a secondary laboratory, dispensary and dental services. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated, patient‑centered care.

Key responsibilities

• Provide patient consultations, conduct physical examinations, and develop evidence‑based treatment plans.
• Order, interpret and integrate laboratory and diagnostic test results into patient care.
• Prescribe medications and coordinate with pharmacy and dental teams for integrated management.
• Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date medical records using electronic documentation systems.
• Educate patients on health promotion, participate in case reviews and collaborate with multidisciplinary professionals.

Required profile

• Valid medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) and full registration/licensure with the relevant medical regulatory authority.
• Strong clinical skills in history taking, physical examination, diagnosis and management of common and specialist conditions.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced clinic, manage multiple cases and uphold patient safety and confidentiality.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for interaction with patients, families and multidisciplinary teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
