Marketing Teacher

About the role

Lead British International School (LBIS) is hiring a full-time, on-site Marketing Teacher for its Ibadan campus. The teacher plans and delivers engaging Marketing lessons for secondary-level students, using a variety of teaching methods and resources, within a school that follows the English National Curriculum blended with Nigerian content.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare lesson plans, instructional materials and assessments, and evaluate students' progress with constructive feedback and academic support.
• Maintain classroom discipline and integrate real-world business and marketing examples into teaching.
• Foster critical thinking and problem-solving skills in students.
• Collaborate with colleagues, take part in staff meetings and school events, and contribute to curriculum development.

Required profile

• Experience delivering Marketing or related business subjects.
• Previous experience teaching in an international or blended curriculum environment.
• A relevant degree in Marketing, Business, Education or a related field; teaching certification or professional training is an advantage.
• Commitment to student-centered learning, professional ethics and continuous professional development.

Required skills

• Teaching and classroom management skills.
• Excellent communication skills, including clear presentation and active listening.
• Practical Marketing and Sales skills, with knowledge of online marketing tools and concepts.
• Lesson planning and assessment skills, familiarity with curriculum standards, and ability to use technology in teaching.
