Marketing Manager
Astria Learning · Lagos
Job description
About the role
Astria Learning, an education-technology company aiming to make high-quality learning accessible worldwide, is looking for an experienced, data-driven Marketing Manager. The role leads global marketing, brand development, PR and SEO across Astria Learning and its partner brand, eCampus Partners. It suits someone who moves between strategic planning and hands-on execution in collaborative, cross-functional settings.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute global and regional marketing strategies linked to growth, partner engagement and lead generation, turning objectives into roadmaps with KPIs and timelines.
- Build and steward the brand identity and messaging for both brands, keeping it consistent across digital, partner portals, print and communications, and craft positioning and storytelling for B2B and B2C outreach.
- Own the SEO strategy: keyword research, on-page and off-page SEO, site audits, and work with developers and writers to apply SEO best practices.
- Lead PR: write and distribute press releases, secure media coverage, build journalist relationships, and position executives as thought leaders through articles, podcasts and speaking.
- Plan and run multi-channel campaigns (digital, email, social, search, paid media), monitor performance and drive user acquisition, engagement and retention.
- Oversee physical marketing materials for expos, fairs and conferences, and coordinate logistics with operations and business development.
- Manage and mentor an in-house marketing team and external agencies, and foster collaboration with admissions, product, technology and business development.
- Run marketing tools (CRM, email platforms, analytics dashboards), manage the marketing budget and vendor contracts, and report monthly and quarterly.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field.
- 5+ years of marketing experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership or management capacity.
- Proven track record in SEO strategy and brand development for B2B or B2C products or services.
- Demonstrated success leading PR campaigns and managing media relationships.
- Excellent written and verbal English; comfortable working across time zones and with remote teams.
- Nice to have: Master's degree, higher education or ed-tech marketing experience, international campaign localization, and investment or technology media relations background.
Required skills
- Google Ads, Meta Ads, HubSpot, Mailchimp, Google Analytics, SEMrush or Ahrefs.
- Familiarity with WordPress or a similar CMS, and a working understanding of HTML/CSS for SEO collaboration.
- Experience managing a CRM and building dashboards for SEO health, campaign ROI and pipeline.
