Marketing Associate

About the role

Vert Farms Ltd is seeking a full‑time Marketing Associate to join its team in Ibadan. The role will support the creation and execution of marketing campaigns that promote the company’s diverse agricultural and agri‑tech products across poultry, crop, livestock and fishery segments.

Key responsibilities

• Create engaging content – videos, graphics, photos and copy – for social media and marketing campaigns.
• Develop educational and promotional material for eggs, broiler birds and livestock products.
• Plan and run seasonal and sales campaigns to boost product visibility and customer engagement.
• Maintain brand consistency across all communication channels.
• Manage and grow social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, WhatsApp Business, LinkedIn) and maintain a monthly content calendar.
• Monitor engagement, respond to inquiries and build online customer relationships.
• Track social media performance metrics and produce regular reports.
• Promote poultry and livestock products to retailers, distributors, restaurants, supermarkets and individual customers.
• Generate leads, support conversion and nurture existing customer relationships.
• Assist in organising farm promotions, exhibitions and marketing events.
• Conduct market research to identify trends, pricing opportunities and customer preferences.
• Monitor competitor activities and provide strategic recommendations.

Required profile

• Understanding of digital marketing, storytelling, branding and agricultural product marketing.
• Ability to collaborate with sales, production and operations teams.
• Strong analytical mindset for tracking campaign performance.

Required skills

• Social media management (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, WhatsApp Business, LinkedIn).
• Content creation – video, graphic design and photography.
• Market research and competitor analysis.
