Market Intelligence & Insights Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a curious, data‑driven Market Intelligence & Insights Analyst to join Renmoney’s Marketing & Communications team in Lagos. Working closely with the MI&I Manager, you will help uncover customer behaviours and competitive trends shaping Nigeria’s fintech landscape.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in designing, scripting and deploying customer surveys to capture satisfaction, product usage and market trends.
• Support the organization and execution of customer interviews, focus groups and usability tests.
• Learn to analyse raw survey data and internal metrics, turning patterns into actionable insights.
• Monitor the Nigerian lending and fintech market, tracking competitor products, campaigns and positioning.
• Co‑create clear, visual reports and presentations for product, marketing and management teams.
• Contribute to end‑to‑end research projects that inform business strategy.

Required profile

• Experience in customer experience, data analytics, product, operations or related fields is a plus.
• Strong understanding of Renmoney’s products, customers and operations.
• Insatiable curiosity about customer behaviour and market dynamics.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with the ability to simplify complex ideas.
• High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with basic data manipulation tools such as Excel or Google Sheets.
• Willingness to learn quantitative and qualitative research methodologies.
