About the role
The Managing Director will lead the organisation’s strategic direction, strengthen market position and drive financial growth within the fintech and financial services sector.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement long‑term strategic plans aligned with the company’s mission and market opportunities.
- Oversee financial performance, set ambitious targets, and optimise revenue streams while ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Build and maintain high‑level relationships with clients, investors, regulators and strategic partners, representing the company at industry events.
- Lead talent acquisition, development and succession planning to foster a culture of innovation and accountability.
Required profile
- Advanced degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics or related field; MBA or MSc is a plus.
- 3–4 years of senior‑level experience in financial services or fintech, with a proven track record of strategic leadership.
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate and close business deals and to liaise with regulatory bodies such as the CBN.
