Management Assistant – Chinese Translator

About the role

We are looking for a Management Assistant who can bridge communication between our Chinese‑speaking partners and internal teams. The role combines administrative support with professional Mandarin‑English translation and interpretation in a fast‑moving fintech environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide real‑time verbal interpretation (Mandarin ↔ English) during meetings, calls and executive engagements.
• Translate written materials such as contracts, emails, presentations, reports and other business documents.
• Support senior leadership and cross‑functional teams in interactions with Chinese partners.
• Act as a cultural liaison to minimise misunderstandings and enhance collaboration.
• Review and proofread translated content for accuracy, tone and consistency.
• Maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive information.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Languages, Chinese Studies, Linguistics or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience as a Chinese translator or interpreter.
• Fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English, both spoken and written.
• Strong understanding of business terminology and professional communication.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple translation requests.

Required skills

• Mandarin Chinese (native or near‑native proficiency).
• English (fluent).
• HSK Level 5 or 6 certification (preferred).
