Management Accountant

About the role

The Management Accountant will provide accurate management accounting, financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting to support effective business decisions across agricultural, factory and support operations at Golden Sugar Company, Sunti.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual management accounts in line with reporting timelines.
• Support the monthly financial close, including accruals, provisions, pre‑payments, inventory adjustments and balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Analyse financial performance, variances, trends and cost drivers to aid management decision‑making.
• Prepare and analyse annual budgets, rolling forecasts and latest estimates in collaboration with department heads.
• Monitor workshop and maintenance overheads and provide cost analysis by department or work centre.

Required profile

• Strong analytical and numerical skills with high accuracy and attention to detail.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field and membership in ICAN, ACCA, ACA or CIMA.
• Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience, preferably in manufacturing/FMCG; agricultural accounting is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance or equivalent ERP system.
• Advanced Excel skills and financial modelling capability.
