About the role
The company seeks an experienced Accountant to manage financial records, ensure accurate reporting, and support month‑end and year‑end close processes. This senior‑level position involves direct interaction with clients and internal stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare bank reconciliation statements and resolve financial discrepancies.
- Document and audit financial transactions, maintaining accounting controls and policies.
- Produce error‑free accounting reports and present results to management.
- Support month‑end and year‑end close processes and compute taxes.
- Prepare and monitor budgets for the company and individual departments.
Required profile
- Minimum HND in Accounting; professional certificates such as ICAN or ACCA are a plus.
- 5‑7 years of relevant experience with strong knowledge of Nigerian accounting regulations.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and confidentiality skills.
Required skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with accounting software.
- Competent in Microsoft Office Suite.
