Maintenance Data Capture Clerk

About the role

The Maintenance Data Capture Clerk supports the Packaging Department by entering and managing maintenance information in the company's planned maintenance systems. This role ensures accurate reporting, assists planners with priority setting, and handles administrative tasks such as SOP writing and document distribution.

Key responsibilities

• Receive job cards from engineering planners and capture all details into the maintenance system.
• Run and analyse reports on maintenance performance and generate performance indicators for engineers and artisans.
• Assist planners in prioritising maintenance activities and issuing schedules to engineering controllers.
• Collect completed schedules after maintenance days, update the system and close out work orders.
• Process ad‑hoc maintenance requests, run schedules and communicate updates to relevant teams.
• Perform administrative duties including SOP/SWI write‑ups, filing, photocopying and information dissemination.

Required profile

• Post‑matric technical qualification (e.g., N4FTC mechanical/electrical).
• At least 1 year of experience in a data‑capturing or maintenance administration environment.
• Computer literacy and ability to work effectively in a team.

Required skills

• Familiarity with COSWIN maintenance system.
• Experience using SAP‑PM module.
• Experience using SAP‑MM module.
