Machine Operator

About the role

We are looking for a Machine Operator to join AJC Nigeria Limited’s production team in Marina, Port Harcourt. The role involves operating and monitoring production machines to ensure smooth, safe, and efficient manufacturing of food products.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production machines according to company procedures.
• Set up machines and ensure proper adjustment before production.
• Monitor machine performance and report faults or abnormalities immediately.
• Maintain consistent product quality throughout production.
• Carry out basic machine cleaning, lubrication, and routine maintenance.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean working environment.
• Record production output, machine downtime, and material usage.
• Assist with loading raw materials and other production activities.
• Work with supervisors and other operators to achieve daily production targets.
• Minimise material wastage and machine downtime.

Required profile

• 0‑1 year of experience operating production machinery.
• Minimum SSCE certificate.
• Male candidates are preferred.
• Resident in Woji, YKC, or nearby environs; applicants from farther areas may not be considered.
