Logistics Sales Executive

About the role

A leading courier and logistics company, recruited through a talent agency, is looking for an experienced, results-driven Sales Executive in Ikeja, Lagos. The role drives revenue growth, acquires new clients and manages key customer relationships. The position is full-time, Monday to Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm and Saturday 9:00am to 2:00pm, with a gross salary of N650,000 per month depending on experience.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, prospect and acquire new corporate and individual clients for courier and logistics services
• Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing clients
• Conduct market research to find new business opportunities and industry trends
• Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals, and negotiate contracts, pricing and service level agreements
• Collaborate with operations and customer service teams to ensure good service delivery
• Maintain accurate sales records, pipeline and reports
• Represent the company at industry events, networking meetings and client visits

Required profile

• BSc/HND in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field
• Proven experience as a Sales Executive in the courier and logistics industry (mandatory)
• Strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
• Good understanding of courier, logistics and supply chain operations
• Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills; self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
• Must live in Ikeja or its surroundings
