Lecturer I – University Teaching Position

About the role

The University seeks a Lecturer I to deliver high‑quality teaching, supervise student projects, and contribute to research across multiple disciplines.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver lectures, tutorials, practical sessions and develop course outlines, lecture notes and assessment tools.
• Supervise student research projects, assignments and practical work within the lecturer’s area of competence.
• Conduct research, publish scholarly articles and participate in curriculum development, examinations and departmental meetings.
• Support accreditation exercises, ensure compliance with university and professional regulatory requirements, and promote academic integrity.
• Integrate digital technologies into teaching and perform other academic duties as assigned by senior university officers.

Required profile

• Advanced academic qualification in the relevant discipline (PhD preferred) meeting university appointment criteria.
• Relevant teaching, research, professional, clinical, laboratory, technical or industry experience.
• Evidence of scholarly publications and research activities where applicable.
• Current professional registration and practising licence where required.
• Strong communication, analytical, presentation and problem‑solving abilities.
