English Teacher

About the role

Lagooz Schools is seeking a dedicated English Teacher to join its Marina campus in Lagos. You will deliver engaging lessons, support student development, and collaborate with the school community.

Key responsibilities

• Present lessons using visual and audio aids to facilitate learning.
• Provide individualized instruction and promote interactive learning.
• Create and distribute educational content such as notes, summaries, and assignments.
• Assess student progress, record grades, and give feedback.
• Maintain a tidy classroom and plan in‑class and outdoor activities.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and stakeholders and attend regular meetings.
• Observe student behavior, report any concerns of neglect or abuse.
• Participate in professional development seminars and conferences.

Required profile

• Minimum academic qualification of NCE.
• At least 3 years of consistent teaching experience in public or private schools.
• TRCN registration is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of teaching best practices and legal educational guidelines.
• Passion for teaching, excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Well‑organized, creative, energetic, and disciplined.
