Learning & Development Consulting Associate

About the role

The Learning & Development Consulting Associate designs, coordinates and executes consulting, training and capacity-building initiatives for clients in the public, private and development sectors. As part of a multidisciplinary consulting team, the early-career professional carries out research and analysis to create tailored learning solutions, building skills in management consulting, organizational development and project management through real client engagements.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and run training, learning and capacity-development programmes tailored to client needs
• Carry out desk research and data analysis to inform consulting strategies and training modules
• Help lead training needs assessments, organizational evaluations and competency gap analyses
• Contribute to curricula, facilitator guides, slide decks, case studies, exercises and evaluation tools
• Coordinate the logistics and delivery of workshops, seminars, executive training, conferences and study tours
• Support consultants and facilitators before, during and after engagement
• Analyse participant feedback, assessment results and programme metrics to drive continuous improvement
• Draft training reports, concept notes, business proposals and presentation materials
• Take part in client meetings and document decisions, action items and follow-ups
• Track project workplans, schedules, milestones and deliverables
• Research trends, policy shifts and management best practices, and help write proposals and expressions of interest
• Maintain project records, research files, client data and programme databases
